I have always liked what I hear from the bands along the East Coast. The guys from the Del-Mar-Va-Pa region are monsters of their craft. I was honored to work with the drummer Bob Holden through Randy Lippincott many times when I was living out that way. They were a great bunch of guys who taught me a whole lot. I always had a great time, and really enjoyed the experience.

It is no easy task to pull off an Otis Redding tune with such authority. My hat is off to Rich Curtis on Bass, and John Colgan-Davis on Harp. Very Impressive. "Shakespeare" is groovy. Way cool vibe, man! Break out the Ray-Bans. I highly recommend "I'm Satisfied" and their modernized, B-3 soaked "Same Thing," but my favorite has to be the closing track, which seems very appropriate for the current times. "Happy Days Are Here Again."

If you're luck enough to get a chance to check out these guys, don't miss it. I am sure they will impress you with their talent, and a fresh outlook on an old genre. The Dukes of Destiny deliver good times and good music every time.
